Rachel Marley

"I want every person who walks through my door to feel heard, understood and hopeful again."

Health has always been more than a career for me—it's been a lifelong journey.

I've always been fascinated by the incredible ability of the human body to adapt, heal and thrive when given the right support.

That curiosity led me to become a degree-qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist, but over the years my understanding of health has continued to evolve.

Today, my work combines evidence-informed functional medicine, nutrition and lifestyle medicine with an appreciation of the powerful connection between the nervous system, behaviour and physical health.

The journey that changed everything....

While my clinical training gave me the knowledge to support others, becoming a mother changed the way I understood health.

When my daughter developed severe allergies, I experienced first-hand the uncertainty, fear and hypervigilance that many parents know all too well. Living with the constant possibility of a life-threatening allergic reaction didn't just affect her health—it affected mine too.

Over time, I began to recognise how chronic stress, heightened vigilance and the nervous system could influence not only emotional wellbeing but physical health as well.

That experience inspired me to look beyond symptoms alone and deepen my understanding of the relationship between our biology, nervous system, thoughts, behaviours and lived experiences.

It became the catalyst for further study in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, allowing me to be able to support people in a more integrated way.

Health is personal. Healing should be too.

My philosophy

I believe health is shaped by the interaction between our biology, nervous system, behaviour, relationships, environment and lived experience.

Natural medicine plays an important role in supporting the body's physiology, whether through nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle medicine or functional testing when appropriate.

At the same time, I believe lasting change also requires understanding the patterns, stressors and behaviours that influence health over time.

The most effective healthcare doesn't ask us to choose between treating the body and understanding the person.

It does both.

Why my approach is different

Every person has a unique story.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I take time to understand the whole picture.

Where appropriate, I use functional pathology and functional testing to investigate the physical drivers of illness alongside a comprehensive health assessment.

From there, I develop an individualised treatment plan that may include nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle medicine and, when appropriate, mind-body approaches such as CBT and hypnotherapy.

Education is central to every consultation because I believe understanding your health is one of the most empowering parts of the healing process.
